Opening & Closing Ceremonies Contest

Our Chapter Officer Team and Greenhand FFA members recently showcased their skills at the Opening & Closing Ceremonies Contest. This contest allows members to demonstrate their public-speaking skills and teamwork ability. Participants rehearsed meticulously, focusing on their public speaking abilities, teamwork, and the importance of ceremonial practices within the organization.

The event was held at Gustine High School with the Merced Mariposa Section Officer Team. Chapters from all around the section competed. Members not only demonstrated their proficiency in the ceremonies but also highlighted their commitment to the principles of FFA. Judges evaluated teams on their delivery, knowledge, and overall performance, encouraging constructive feedback to help participants improve. The contest not only strengthened members’ public speaking skills but also deepened their connection to the FFA's mission, leaving them motivated to carry these values into their future endeavors.
