2019-2020 El Capitan FFA Officer Team

President - Marlo Carpenter

Meet your 2019-2020 chapter President, Marlo Carpenter! Marlo is a senior this year and she is involved with aquatics, scholarship pageants, and theater. She competes on our Floriculture and Job Interview teams. She will be attending National Convention in October. In the future, Marlo would like to attend college, receive her Bachelor of Science, and become an Ag teacher. 

Vice President - Tyler Paskin

Meet your 2019-2020 chapter Vice President, Tyler Paskin! Tyler is a senior this year and he loves welding and working with his hands. He is building a dump trailer at school. Tyler will be competing on our ag mechanics team. As for the future, Tyler hopes to attend Fresno State and obtain a career as a firefighter.

Secretary - Jenevieve Ybarra

Meet your 2019-2020 chapter Secretary, Jenevieve Ybarra! Jenevieve is a junior at El Capitan. Her hobbies include painting and drawing and an interesting fact about her is that she loves to do field events. This year, she will be competing on our ag mechanics team. In the future, Jenevieve wants to go to college and study law.  

Treasurer - Cali Garcia

Meet your 2019-2020 chapter Treasurer, Cali Garcia! Cali is a senior and was born and raised in Merced. A hobby of hers is working on cars. A talent that Cali has is singing. This year, she will be competing on the vine pruning and small engine teams. In the future, she plans on going to trade school for mechanics and finding a career. 

Reporter - Lauren Leonardo

Meet your 2019-2020 chapter Reporter, Lauren Leonardo! Lauren is a senior and plays tennis at El Capitan. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her friends and painting. This year, she will compete on the floral and vine pruning teams. In the future, Lauren plans on attending a four-year university and pursuing a career as a school psychologist. 

Sentinel - Julianna Contreras

Meet your 2019-2020 chapter Sentinel, Julianna Contreras! Julianna is a sophomore at El Capitan. She is originally from San Jose, California. In her free time, she loves to paint. Julianna is happiest when she is at the beach. This year, she will be competing on the floral and vine pruning CDE teams. In the future, she hopes to attend Berkeley and get a degree in law and order. 

Historian - Heather Baker

Meet your 2019-2020 chapter Historian, Heather Baker! Heather is a junior at El Capitan and is originally from Mariposa. One of her hobbies is riding horses. This year, Heather will be competing on the vine pruning CDE team. In the future, she plans on becoming a Veterinarian or Firefighter.
